The West Valley City Giving Tree supports West Valley City families in need during the holiday season. Beginning in 2003 with one family, the program will assist 275 kids from 80 families, and 30 senior citizens in 2023. Families are selected through the local Headstart program.
 
Your donations will help provide each child with a minimum of two shirts; two pants; underwear; a winter coat, hat, and gloves; shoes and socks; and, two wish-list items of the child's choice. Seniors will receive a winter coat, hat, and gloves; socks; and a blanket.
 
Families will be invited to a special breakfast or lunch with the West Valley City Police Department and a special guest in red where they will be given their gifts.
